We Welcome Individuals and Families — Organizations, Schools, Churches and Synagogues to Get Involved and Volunteer at the Pantry
Sunshine Pantry encourages groups and individuals to meet their community service requirements by volunteering their time at the pantry. There are many ways to help. Food packing, unpacking and distributing food or help organize a food drive.

Sharon Straus, Founder and Director of Sunshine Pantry was Awarded the 2009 Governor's Volunteer Award for Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Achievement
Sharon Straus has been in this volunteer role for more than 25 years, working out of her garage for the first 20. Sunshine Pantry started as a needy family project for her son's Cub Scout pack has now grown to an immense operation with over 150 volunteers donating 600+ hours to serve more than 900 families each month.
